Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University

Bangamata is the title name of Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib. She was the spouse of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman. Mirza Azam MP established this university with the heartiest effort. It is a part of the implementation of the commitments of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. A plan was set up in her direction to build a specialist university in Jamalpur District. As a result, Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science & Technology University became a reality. It was simply established on 28 Nov 2017 vide Act 24 of 2017 as the 44th public university of Bangladesh. The Honorable Chancellor of the University and President appointed Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Alam Khan as the Vice Chancellor.

He joined as the Vice Chancellor of the University on 12 December 2022. This university is under the dynamic leadership of the Vice Chancellor. The university has achieved remarkable milestones in every activity. The Government has sanctioned 500 Acres of land located in the Jamalpur District for it. It has built a structure for a secured campus with modern educational facilities.
